9 - Fashion Shows in the Digital Age

Consumers are now able to see fashion shows through a variety of channels, without even having to be at the show. Designers are creatively bringing their shows to the public, made possible by technological advancements. Smartphone apps, online streaming and video coverage are just a few of the ways that fashion shows are being brought to the masses in new and innovative ways.

An example of this that I liked was when Burberry celebrated the opening of their new flagship store in Beijing, they presented a digital, 3-dimensional fashion show in the store. This projection of the show makes you feel like you are watching the show live. Here is a video of the show
